Both Gala and AXS have been deemed halal by the Shariah Executive at Sharlife, using their assessment process. We have not found any others sources that have an opinion on these so on the basis of just one source saying they are halal, we would advise some caution.
Nothing against Sharlife, as they do some amazing work. However, as there is no overall authority or body that Muslims can turn to for halal guidance on this market, we have to rely on independent assessments so as a general rule, we advise only to invest in projects where two or more different sources have said it is halal. We have almost 100 coins fully assessed using 6 different sources so there are plenty of other coins arguably “more” halal than both GALA and AXS.
Personally, I would advise staying away from gaming or entertainment-type projects as they do nothing for humanity, but that’s just my opinion as a layman.
