Salam!

I understood that staking as proof-of-stake (for secure a network) is halal in Islam. But what about liquid staking, which is same staking but when you stake the native token of a blockchain, you receive an equivalent token that represent your staked tokens and follow the price of the native token for use it in DeFI while you stake. For example we have Lido project, where you delegate your ETH to be staked (a service charge is applied for this operation) and they gave you in exchange the same amount in stETH token for use in DeFI until you withdraw your staked tokens. Is this type of staking permissible in Islam?

If you need additional infos, feel free to ask!

barak Allahou fikom!
