Comment from user:
Hey I really appreciate your work
But I think there is a mistake with the WAN coin because it deals with borrowing and lending; therefore, how can it be Halal?
Kindly check this information from About section of CoinMarketCap.
Kindly tell me if I am wrong!
We’re glad you find it useful. Everything is done manually, and with the market developing constantly, avoiding some errors is difficult.
We rely on user feedback to keep things updated and make amendments where necessary, so we appreciate your comments. However, in this case, WAN was certified correctly and remains halal.
While it may enable transactions from/to lending and borrowing platforms, it doesn’t offer lending or borrowing services itself. Unles things have changed since the assessment was done. It’s a bit like VISA that enables transactions between banks and retailers. You can use Visa it for halal purchases or haram ones, but doesn’t necessarily make Visa (the connector) haram.
Hope that helps iA, but if you are aware of any recent changes please let us know so we can amend if required. Thanks
JazakaAllah for reply your point is also valid
